An educational resources for patients

The diabetes program provides an educational resource to assist patients in their management of diabetes. Currently 465 diabetes centres and 1,500 educators across Canada participate in this free service. Literature and samples are provided to each centre on a regular basis featuring a variety of topics relating to diabetes including:

• nutrition
• healthy living
• glucose testing
• lifestyle management

This information is available to assist you in educating patients and helping them learn to cope with their diabetes.

The diabetes program is provided free of charge to diabetes educators. The program offers the flexibility to remove any educational information that may not suit your centre. Our trained representatives install and maintain the display unit and replenish material on a regular basis with the most up-to-date information available. The unit keeps your waiting area free of unwanted clutter.
